Private Health Blood Testing
If you’ve been feeling tired, out of balance, foggy, flat, or simply not like yourself, private health blood testing can offer clarity where guesswork often fails.
At Foxhie, we offer advanced blood testing in partnership with Goodbody, providing access to comprehensive, laboratory-analysed blood tests without long GP waiting times. These tests are designed to give you real insight into your health, hormones, vitamins, and overall wellbeing, all in a calm, supportive clinic environment.
This service is for people who want answers, not assumptions.
Why choose private blood testing?
Many symptoms are easy to dismiss until they become impossible to ignore. Ongoing fatigue, low mood, sleep issues, weight changes, hormone fluctuations, anxiety, frequent illness, or feeling constantly run down are often brushed off as stress or “just life”.
Private blood testing allows us to look at what’s actually happening inside your body. Not to diagnose or alarm, but to inform and empower.
Having access to detailed results means you can make informed decisions about your health, whether that’s through lifestyle changes, supplementation, IV vitamin therapy, or sharing results with your GP or specialist.
What our blood tests can help explore.
We offer a range of blood test panels tailored to different needs, including:

Hormone blood tests for women and men

-

-

What to expect at your appointment.
Your blood test appointment takes place in the relaxed, private setting of the Foxhie clinic. Depending on the test selected, we’ll collect your sample via finger-prick or venous blood draw, carried out by a trained professional.
Samples are sent to an accredited UK laboratory for analysis. Results are delivered securely online, usually within a few days, with clear explanations to help you understand what they mean.
We know medical environments can feel intimidating. Ours isn’t. You’ll be listened to, supported, and never rushed.
After your results.
Once your results are available, you can choose how you’d like to use them.
Some clients use their blood test results to guide IV vitamin therapy or injections at Foxhie. Others use them to address deficiencies through supplements, nutrition, or lifestyle changes. Some simply want reassurance or a clearer picture to take back to their GP or healthcare provider.
There is no pressure to take any further steps. This is about knowledge, choice, and feeling informed.
Frequently Asked Questions
Are these blood tests medical-grade?
Yes. All samples are analysed by accredited UK laboratories using clinically validated methods. These are the same standard of tests used within private healthcare settings.
Do I need a GP referral?
No GP referral is needed. You can book directly with us for private blood testing.
Will this diagnose a medical condition?
Blood testing provides insight and highlights potential imbalances, but it does not replace diagnosis from a GP or specialist. You’re welcome to share your results with your healthcare provider for further investigation if needed.
How long do results take?
Most results are returned within a few working days, depending on the panel selected.
Is the blood test painful?
Discomfort is minimal. Finger-prick tests feel similar to a small scratch, and venous blood draws are quick and performed by trained professionals. We take every step to make you comfortable.
What happens if something shows as abnormal?
You’ll receive clear results explaining each marker. If something falls outside the optimal range, you can choose to discuss next steps, share results with your GP, or explore supportive options such as supplementation or IV therapy.
Is this linked to IV vitamin therapy at Foxhie?
Blood testing can be used to inform IV therapy or injections, but there is no obligation to proceed with any treatment. The choice is always yours.
Is my information confidential?
Yes. Your results are delivered securely and handled with strict confidentiality.
Who is this not suitable for?
Blood testing may not be suitable for those with severe needle phobia or certain medical conditions. If you’re unsure, we’re always happy to talk things through before booking.
